WESTBROOK POLITICS: Links to the names of people currently involved in the political parties and political action committees (PACs) in Westbrook. If you have questions about what's going on in Westbrook these are the people to talk to. You'll probably discover that you know many of them and that they will be more then willing to answer your questions and listen to your opinions. If you are registered as an unaffiliated voter we would strongly suggest that you change your registration to one of the parties so you can vote in primaries. In Connecticut you lose part of your vote if you register as unaffiliated. What's more, once you join a party, you should seriously consider attending the meetings of, or even joining, its Town Committee to make your voice in the process even stronger. - WESTBROOK BOARD OF EDUCATION: The majority of our tax dollars go to support the school system in Westbrook. Go to this site to get a better idea of what they do with our money.The new Board of Education and the new school administration are making every effort to communicate better with the taxpayers in the Town.

NOTE: This link originally took you to an appropriate page on the Town of Westbrook Web site, which was one of the best in the State. Shortly after the 2005 election the new Town administration terminated the contract of the then web master and since that time the site has effectively not been kept up to date. You can check it out for yourself and if you find that it is being maintained and updated again please let us know so we can restore this and the other links to it that are on the COB site.
