Short business meeting followed by presentation and Q. & A. about the 2005-2006 Town Budget by Tony Palermo, 1st Selectman and Tony Marino, Chair Finance Committee. Quorum of member associations present.

First budget Referendum. Mail in absentee ballots not allowed! Budget rejected by voters!
06/06/05 COB:
No business meeting. Quorum of member associations not present. Short presentation by New Library Committee. Discussions of proposed Web Site addition, illegal fireworks and Senior Citizen property tax relief.

Town Meeting to discuss revised Town budget that is scheduled to go to a Referendum on 7/12.
07/11/05 COB:
Fireworks report and extensive discussion of Town Budget situation.
07/12/05 12:00 noon to 8:00pm.

Connecticut Coastal Communities Coalition meeting in Multi Media Room at Mulvey Municipal Center.

08/01/05 COB.
Elections. Traffic Commission, Wastewater & Harbor Commission reports. Discussion of threat of Clinton Coastal Management Plan as DEP policy. Discussion of possible special meeting on Town budget. Voted to join Connecticut Coastal Communities Coalition (C4) since it is not a PAC and therefore not a legal problem for our Tax District members. The consensus of the members present was that all COB member associations should join C4 as well as their individual members. Paper on voting impact of COB membership handed out and discussed. Voted to send to email contact list.
09/12/05 COB:
Presentation and Q&A of upcoming Town Reevaluation process by Jim Ramos of Real Estate Management Services, Inc, 155 Pruett Place, Oakdale, CT 06370. This will be a longer meeting than usual. Presentation will be about an hour and we'll allow about 1/2 hour for Q&A.
